Ministry Information and Schedules Who is called to serve??? You are!!! The following positions are available in this parish ministry. Greeters welcome people as they come into our Church. They help find seats when it is crowded. They pass the basket during the Offertory collection, guide people going up to Communion and pass out bulletins at the end of Mass. Greeters are friendly people. Lectors read the Word of God during Mass. They may read from either the Old or the New Testament. The readings are printed in your own copy of the Lector’s Workbook, for you to practice. The workbook gives pronunciations of the words and interpretations of the readings, to help you proclaim the Word during Mass. Eucharistic Ministers give Communion during Mass. They may offer either the Body or the Blood of Christ. They have a special affection for the Eucharist. Servers assist Father on the altar during Mass. They bring him the book of prayers, and “set the table” for the consecration. They also help Father get his vestments on and carry the processional cross. You could do any one of these very important jobs! New ministers are needed for all areas and Masses. Training will be provided. If you are interested in serving our parish in any of these positions, please complete the attached information form and return it to the parish office via the collection basket at any mass. Or, you may contact Molly Pertee. Ministry contacts:
