Parish School of Religion



From September into May, Church of the Ascension offers a Parish School of Religion for children in grades 1 to 8. The School teaches our children the knowledge that they need to pray, love, and serve our God. It also prepares them for the Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation. The Church strongly encourages all children who do not attend a parochial school to register for the Parish School of Religion. Even those children who attend parochial schools are invited to participate in our school to strengthen their knowledge and become friends with the other children who attend our School and have a strong faith in God.


The classes are taught here at our church in the meeting rooms between masses on Sundays according to our School calendar. Here is the 2007-2008 PSR Calendar: PSR Calendar 2007-2008
